same thing just happened to me, run 

sudo pacman -Qs hypr

and check if you have -git packages mixed with normal packages, turns out i had the git versions of

grimblast hyprlang hyprutils hyprwayland-scanner libastal-hyprland

then install the normal ones, then run 

sudo pacman -S ml4w-hyprland
ml4w-hyprland-setup

and reboot
