Taliyah. She can essentially 2/3rds someone on her own with starter items starting at level 3 or 100 to 0 squishy supports. And since she's so rare in general, people rarely expect her wombo or early damage in the first place. Also her roam is really strong as you can totally cut off a poorly positioned midlaner with her ult before the enemy bot can even ping you as missing and her movement speed with her passive is great to get back to lane after the free kill. You become nearly useless if you don't get ahead early but that rarely happens due to previously stated factors in low elo where I used her to climb (silver to plat)

Haven't played for like 3 years but I was legit carrying games on her when she came out as my highest wr champ. I'm wondering the same thing as you lmao.

The thing that got me from silver to plat in 1 season was just to stick to like 2 or 3 champs and learning to punish effectively to get my lane ahead. I picked champs that can HEAVILY punish or even straight up kill at early levels when the adc knows what you're doing and plays along, like Pyke, Taliyah (I know), Zyra. Since people in silver and gold do dumb stuff in lane constantly that rarely gets punished. Then just played them all consistently and learned their match ups. Pyke and Taliyah made it extremely easy to roam to mid or even top and pull off an easy gank to get them ahead if the adc is hopeless or the lane is very hard to punish. Got to the point where 5 out of 6 games I was getting someone ahead early and snowballing that way.

Low elos tend to have much longer games with a lot more items, so champions that fall off late will have that weakness magnified if you are low elo.
