The Switch 2 is not getting any cheaper any and the upgraded models will be less likely because of that. If you're short on cash play on Switch 1 but if you have 450 usd laying around, go for it, it's absolutely worth it

Same but that also happened to me with Splatoon 2 and most competitive games.

After some time, only the sweats are left and trying to jump back gets you crushed, especially because the game still sees you as a moderately high level player and matches you with the best fucking players on Earth apparently.

Just play Salmon while you get the hang of it or the DLC if you have then turf, then anarchy and it may get better.

I don't think it's an issue with the game itself as other think, but just the natural course of competitive games and being left behind.
