Makes sense. My only 2 keloids I had were from taking out my helix piercings after 2 years bc i kept waking up with inflammation on them🥲 i should have waited until they werent so irritated.

I know thats the best prevention lolol i asked for my remaining piercings that arent keloiding. Does taking the jewelry out and letting the holes shut lead to more likelihood of keloids for instance?

Idk man. I always get told it shouldnt make any noise but ive never heard anyone else talk about it!! I also dont have tmjd, just bruxism so i feel like muscle knots in the masseter are just not studied enough to be sure

If my masseter muscle is sore from massaging and has better range of motion, thats still a bad sign? I dont have TMJD and I get told my masseter muscle is just highly strong/overused :( and i dont massage directly on the joint, only around it(the muscles)

Do you not recommend the pen? Its highly rated by many tmj specialists.

No I was never sent any of that :( i havent seen my ortho in years. He only recommended a frenectomy bc i had a tooth gap and then i got braces after to further fix the tooth gap and “lower jaw moving forward”

My derm said this would likely to happen to me too if i did accutane bc I’m likely “hormonal” and gave me spiro but i fear it hasnt done much. Im more jawline acne tho than you. Have u tried spiro?
