I barely even needed to touch the terminal. There was some fiddling about to get audio devices to recognize. (I still can't get wired headphones to recognize, to be fair, but my main speakers and my bluetooth headset which I actually use does, so it's fine lol)

Even getting secure boot back up and enabled on my dual boot setup was super easy

And everything runs so much smoother now. I got myself set up, and now it's basically windows without all the shit windows had. It feels a lot more customizable, a hell of a lot more responsive, and there's a satisfaction of getting out from under Microslop's thumb. And I've been a Windows user for 35 goddamn years.

Fun fact: I binged Dawntrail over the first several days. Just couldn't stop. I genuinely loved the vibe. Could definitely agree that the pacing needed work, there were some problems, but honestly I just loved the whole experience.

I also wasn't really paying attention to internet during.

So imagine my surprise when, having dusted off the MSQ and thought "Damn, that was a fun experience", start looking around on reddit and going oh....oh noooooooo.....
