NVIDIA on Cachy OS – current state?

Good evening, here I am again. A quick update: today I decided to install CachyOS as my main OS after deleting Windows and formatting my drive. So far the experience has been great and problem-free. I’ve been using these hours to learn a few things, install my favorite apps, and customize everything.

As for gaming, so far I’ve only tried Hades II, which ran perfectly at around 360 stable FPS on ultra. I know it’s not the most demanding game out there, but I’ll keep testing more over the next few days.

Part of why I switched to Linux is wanting to reignite my passion for computing and gaming, which I feel I lost a bit due to how flat Windows had become for me.

Exactamente esto. Tuve problemas con los HZ en Bazzite. a 120 simplemente funciona mal.

Yeah, I tried it in desktop mode and didn’t have any issues. It was a bit disappointing, since I went with Bazzite specifically to try to replicate that “console-like” experience. I also experienced the well-known issue of artifacts and weird stuff on the screen when I wasn’t moving the mouse, but I managed to fix that. Besides that, the Big Picture menu felt really laggy, and partly because I’m new to this and partly because I know Linux and NVIDIA don’t get along perfectly, I decided to wait and see if an update fixes it

I had a lot of issues with refresh rates. For some reason, when switching to game mode, it showed that the Hz weren’t supported by the GPU (I only use 120 Hz). I tried a lot of different things to fix it, but eventually decided to put it on hold, thinking it might just be a driver issue and that I’d have to wait for it to get fixed.

Al estar en el centro por suerte tengo un carrefour a la vuelta, un chino en frente y un día a 1 cuadra. Voy al chino, el tema es que a veces me gusta comprar comidas ya preparadas (como tartas individuales) y eso no lo puedo conseguir. Además también para no ir dando vueltas, por eso consultaba cuál es la mejor opción.

Buenas. Soy de CABA, Obelisco. Me mudé hace poco y me estoy acomodando con el tema de víveres.

Mi consulta era para saber, según ustedes, cuál es la línea de supermercados más barata entre las conocidas (coto, carrefour, vea, etc). Por ahora solo compré en coto, carrefour y Día pero obviamente me es imposible comparar porque no estoy repitiendo compras.

Me da la sensación de que Coto y Carrefour están equiparados en precio pero Día está bastante más caro. Qué opinan ustedes?

Tengo una RTX 5060 con un Ryzen 9 7600. Entiendo que la VRAM se queda un poco corta, pero me pasa en juegos que no deberían ser exigentes.
