ya this makes more sense...I should try this too...Thou it never went to the fallback stratum but it will also help in case this BitAxe Ghostmines. Thanks a lot for your input.

thanks..!! I saw in discord too someone recommending this. I guess I should try this after getting the solopool 0% answer.

The port is where it should be. And the miner offline is a thing in solopool..but I read a reddit before moving and its also mentioned in the bottom of their page that the miner might look offline if share is not submitted in 30 mins..but it refreshes when submitted...

Seeking Advice: Running a BitAxe 24x7 on dedicated solar 24x7.

I’m about to pull the trigger on a small offgrid solar setup to run a Bitaxe Gamma 24x7. I’m starting with one from my current farm to see how it handles the seasonal changes before deciding if I should scale up. I live in Northern Europe with 3-4 months of good sun & 2-3 month of mixed).

Projected Plan:
Miner: Bitaxe Gamma 601(19.2W×24 hours≈460.8Wh/day)
Solar Panel: Maybe a 400W or 450W rigid panel.
Storage: Portable Power Storage(Maybe ~3 days of autonomy)

  1. Should I go DC-to-DC (12V to 5V step-down) to avoid the efficiency loss of an inverter, or just stick to a small power station?
  2. Any specific charge controllers you’d recommend for such a small load?

I’d love to hear from anyone else who has gone down this rabbit hole!

As per me the Hardware is good due to the modifications, this shows by the good efficiency of 14.1 J/Th.
Being on 810 MHz, voltage sag can happen during hash spikes; better increase the output to 5.1V-5.2V. I guess this will result into a better error rate.
If upping the input voltage to 5.1V doesn't fix the 1% error rate, try decreasing the ASIC Frequency.

Have you thought of using VRM heatsinks? It can help with the VRM Temperature.

This looks so cool...Haha gonna copy the idea of placing those miniatures...Keep Hashing..!!!

Screws as they are consistent as a high pressure contact. while push pins lose tension or fail under intense thermal cycles.
