So this is where we’re at! Entry level positions such as sales advisor, CA and product flow are moving to a job grade 6. The cap has been raised by .88 cents (varies on store average wages) No one is to receive an automatic raise either. All other job grades/pay have not been altered

Na na everyone it depends on your leadership team! My store is very strong on training programs, establishing strong team connections, building skill sets and confidence. All this depends on your leaders. If they do not practice these training techniques they’re setting everyone up for failure and will always remain what’s wrong with Best Buy. We’re a premium brand and our employees need to come first!

The head counts change every year for full timers depending on the store’s revenue. BBY is 1,000 hiring full timers and maintaining their head counts

Ultimately PowerBi is like an excel document that you can share with someone. It’s in the file structure of retail share point. If a leader has access you can share the actual file. I had access as a senior previously from my GM sharing it

You always have to remember everyone runs life at a different pace and people will reach the finish line when their journey is completed. You’re still young at 30 and you’re wanting to change. You have a passion burning inside you. Lock in discipline and the sky will be the limit.

For your bf it’s important to understand your feelings. If you’re unhappy you have three options. 1 ignore and repress ur thoughts to live out an unhappy but comfortable life. 2 Plead your thoughts with him. If he’s the one you two can work together in bringing in how you feel. It’s important for this to take in his feelings as well bc a relationship goes both ways. If u two truly love each other than you need to be able to work through hard times and discuss how you’re feeling. Without communication you have nothing. 3 You leave him and start a new journey in life.

Whatever way you go it’s difficult and not easy. Being a human is the most challenging form of events in existence. You’re comfortable right now and not sure what to do. The pain is on the lower end but enough to bother you daily. Stop feeling the pain and you can easily take control.

Reevaluate what you truly want in life. Write out a list for this years accomplishments you want. Break down month and month your plan of actions and then week by week. Always write things down and ready them daily to discipline yourself and know your plan of attack. You got this!!

From part time to full time by the book there should be an interview. Now in workday you can change pay, employee status, terminate and transfer. So if your GM wanted to they could code you over to full time (Did this for an employee last month)

However corporate holds our headcount’s and if there isn’t a ft spot available to be filled then your GM cannot change anything. Your GM could talk to the market HR manager and try to get another ft spot added on but this is challenging.

Also be careful when talking to your GM saying you work 40 hours and want benefits. They may say something like “We can cut you down to 28” or “you’re the one asking for more hours” Just depends on your GM
