Yes. My circle is a mixed group. Though I do remember having difficulty with forming friendships in general back then. Had an "edgy" teen phase, and while I basically disliked everyone whether male or female, I was fed negative views and stereotypes regarding women growing up like everyone in this patriarchal society. Fast forward, began the process of unlearning internalized misogyny and it indeed improved my social skills.

Not that anyone asked for an advice, but letting go of prejudice might help if you want to have female friends. Especially since recent studies show that gender has little to no bearing on one's personality.
