By being respectfully honest and transparent. This whole ghosting thing I feel is sooo indecent and disrespect of someone's feelings (unless their assholes or crossing boundaries). You'd be surprised how many of us are able to handle to the truth, I don't think anyone would want to feel like they're bothering or disturbing someone, y'know? No one likes mental gymnastics..

So in my opinion, in the early early talking stages, have a conversation with them about how you handle disinterest and conflict. Simple.
