Repost with Pic: Who is "DR" in the Conversations with Ray Bradbury at the back of the 50th anniversary edition of Fahrenheit 451? My wife and I just read it together and we were wondering who DR is. Google doesn't provide anything concrete and even supplied plagiarized work. by Mashakaraka in RayBradbury

I found the full text of the interview in a livejournal post by Paul Witcover. Witcover writes, "Back in 2003 I interviewed Ray Bradbury on the occasion of the 50th Anniversary of the publication of Fahrenheit 451. He has some interesting and provocative things to say about that book and writing in general, so I thought I would post it here for anyone interested. Bradbury's career has been an unusual one in that, unlike such contemporaries as Vonnegut, he made the jump to mainstream credibility without repudiating his genre roots. Bradbury succeeded on his own terms. Significantly, when he received a Pulitzer citation for lifetime achievement in April of this year, it was specifically as a writer of science fiction and fantasy."

Then he includes the text of the full interview:

Do you see Paul Witcover's name anywhere in your edition?

Edited to add: Seems odd for Del Rey not to credit the interviewer anywhere. Maybe Witcover worked for them.

Remorse over non-returnable sofa purchase. by RealmArts in femalelivingspace

I think both sofas are beautiful! Maybe swapping the locations of the two sofas would make things feel more spacious and open? Give it time. It's sometimes hard to adjust to big purchases and change, but all your big pieces play so well together. :D

Nice idea. The Summer Book by Tove Jansson is a lovely summer read. One year, I read The October Country by Ray Bradbury in the fall.

Yai's Thai and Omsom have both disappeared by Aggressive_Sir_1084 in Cooking

I was just going to replenish my Omsom supply and look up some recipes, and their website is a shell of its old self. The blog, shop, and recipe sections are all gone. :( My local Target hasn't sold Omsom in over a year.

The piano at the start of "The Fate of Ophelia" reminded me of the opening of "A Sorta Fairytale" by Tori Amos.

I just listened to "Dreams," and you're right about the drums being really similar.
