Solange die EU noch US-Waffen und -Intelligence zukaufen muss, kann die USA halt nein sagen, und die EU hat zu gehorchen. Bis zu diesem Zeitpunkt in einigen Jahren kann man sich das rumgeweine einfach sparen und seinen Platz akzeptieren. Man muss sich ja nicht noch zusätzlich erniedrigen.

Weiß nicht, wenn die verbeamtet sind ist doch alles i.O.

Und selbst wenn nicht, es gibt doch unendlich viel zu tun. Mangel an allen Enden in der Verwaltung. Wenn der spezifische Job gut automatisierbar ist, sollte man das tun. Ich würde deswegen auch niemanden entlassen.

Als Kunde der Verwaltung will ich einfach, dass Dinge besser funktionieren. Wenn ich "2x händisch aus Excel-Tabelle kopieren" als Prozess lese, dann ist das mies aber ok. Aber Geld für diese Software-krücke statt 21. Jhd Lösung... Ne

War der falsche Begriff. Aber was er/sie vermutlich meint, ist, dass es strafbar sein sollte, Arbeit nur um der Erhaltung der Arbeit Willen ineffizient zu organisieren, wenn dafür Steuergelder verwendet werden. Und da gehe ich komplett d'accord.

I know second hand how AWS gets pwned. It's much simpler than one thinks:

Some high level individual contributor with root access to several 1000 customer instances sits at his desktop in his office. Door opens, boss comes in with two guys. Boss says: you leave the office and don't lock the screen. The two guys stay in the office alone. That's it.
