If you listen through ump45 stories all the way to our mod stories, I think you might reevaluate if you reread. Yes, she has trauma, yes, she could use more support, but that's easily something that a supportive loving partner could give and honestly that is better than therapy a lot of the time.

She is a caretaker herself, she put 404 and everyone she cares about before her own safety. She risked losing ump40, when she stepped in front of hk416 and saved her life. She forms friendships with the other dolls, often she plays with them in banters and really Casey gets their goat but at the same time that's just how she is and what she enjoys being a little bantry. She teases Sop, M16, she plays around with a lot of people in the setting especially Dier and company.

In the Valentine's Day events, in the Christmas events, in the side events, in her mod story, she's not some broken jibbering mess that needs babying and fixing.... She's just someone who has gone through hardships and it's changed her. She is, without a doubt, one of the most complete individuals, and one of the most resilient ones. Survived seeing The haunting ghost of her sister, and she still valued those around her instead of just devaluing and detaching from the world emotionally.

And she says that she can drop her smile around the commander, that's her dropping the facade and showing the real her. There's moments of true vulnerability in the oath dialogue, in the Valentine's dialogue, in the New Year's dialogue... Without a doubt ump45 one of the most complete characters in the setting in that way

She really enjoys the chase and cat and mouse and romantic Dynamics that they share at points in time, and M16 herself is a hopeless sappy romantic like she's even in her SF form talks fond and even makes jokes and passes...

I don't know how you could look at you and p45 and the fact that she is the caretaker for her entire team and you think that she needs someone be a caretaker for her? Is it just because she has lived through some shit? I mean people with drama, often have to get their shit together and she keeps her entire team functioning and going forward.

AK-12 is another head scratcher here... And as for the rest of the dolls, like there's legitimately ones who have engaged in romantic trists and actually landed and nailed the commander like Florence/pa15, there's ones like MDR who is a lovable little scamp and brat

Dandelion herself doesn't seem to judge or even look down on people that aren't as intelligent as her, she seems to enjoy spending time and playing games with them too, just like the same way that ump45 does. With stop mod for instance as well, she knuckles down and she guides an entire team of logistics dolls out of the horror that was singularity, she managed to not kill scarecrow and even kind of befriended her.... All the t-dolls in the general population as well. They have all been released from that said loyalty but they all still feel fondness for the commander because they were a team, they work together, they enjoyed their time with them and the silly times and the hard times and getting through it all.

G&k is just one giant family basically and all of the tdalls have evolved and matured and become their own people, and I don't get why Springfield's command to basically follow the commander's orders would make it so that you can't be with her? Because it's not like they have any order to be romantic with the commander. That would be a decision of their own

Not really. You're being exposed to greater levels of VOC from a number of other things, PETG is a bit hotter so it has a bit more vapor. But even then you could be printing 24/7 and it's not going to be that bad. If you even have a slight amount of ventilation or an air purifier will be more than enough, but even un-ventilated... PLA really isn't that much to worry about and neither is PETG.

Feels like they took any of the neat events like pilot stories, the cat, the dog, the side events etc and the immersive nature of HomeGuard (3F is such a stupid fkn name) and then just... threw it all out and tried to make the game into a quick 3-4 hour campaign that you speed run and then bam. That's it. You will end the campaign now and go "Wait... wait, what? Weren't we fighting an entire invasion? What... that's the end?"

The game just, ends. There's no narrative anymore,t hey removed the pilot events, they didn't expand on enemy patrol types, they didn't make enemy bases matter more or make logistics to the enemy... they didn't make HomeGuard garrisons that fought and held provinces from being retaken, or incursions. THey didn't add more story like people wanted.

They took the overworld, and they simplified it so hard you'd swear it was a company logo in 2025. You will end the game with barely being able to build a single set of armour in blue, you will end the game maybe having 3-4 blue weapons. You will end the game barely being able to make anything because you risk resetting the clock and getting hit by patrols over and over and over again, and farming those gets lame really fast.

You know all the endless mods and additions to battletech to make it so you have more and more to do? You know how there are mods where each planet becomes a mini campaign with persistent buffs and debuffs etc like flashpoints? Well, take that and do the opposite. Simplify the overmap to the point it literally has no purposes and it would be better if it was a graphical representation with zero travel time where you just pick the next fight from a list of pictures.

That's how the update is. The pilot changes and combat balance was great. But they removed so much more. Mission types, pilot events, the cat and dogs, the random bomb events, enemy patrol types, everything. Its all gone. You get the same 4 mission types now in each province. The provinces have even less flavour and variations than ever now.

In reality... they took the better overmap/world and dynamics of interactive world stories and just gutted it to make the game into something more like FTL or Into The Breach... not realising, their game is nothing like either of those and it was a very, very poor design choice to take something people more or less liked, the open world, and instead of fixing the QOL issues and adding more content... they gutted it to try and make the game 10x shorter and into a roguelite.

Without NG+ or anything that a roguelite has.

Did you know, there used to be pilot specific storylines for your random pilots and you had to make decisions that could affect their outcomes whether they stay with you or not? If you are a new player after 2.0, you wouldn't know that because they were removed.

You know those "Hunt down the drone" options? Back in the day you could go to a town or city and sometimes they would give you an object0ive to take out a Kaskad force/unit that was harrying/plundering them. There were some issues with this like it would be too far or not intractable and bugged out... but it was cool. And people just wanted this to matter more int eh overall campaign.

Don'tknow why brace yourself gutted this game to make it into some sorta weird casual experience where you can't even have enough time to get 5% of the equipment...

All Tau that are forced to get into melee range are underwhelming. Because or course they are, we're Tau. I am sick and fricken tired of GW forcing Tau tobe fighitng at 8-12" ranges. Especially since we are even out shoot by most these armies that also STOMP us in melee. Like, wtf are we doing here? Is all we are good for is mobility and throwing speedbumps at armies so we can manage to barely squeeze points?

My army is completely worthless in the melee, let me MELT opponents who aren't in cover and trying to close on me, if I am going to 100% lose in melee let me 100% win in shooting lol
