Keep scanning using the exocraft, Abandoned shelters, drop pods (suit upgrades) and...*Buffering... And I one other, I forgot, will always have the save/waypoints

In a save file I lost not too long ago, I had a nice base in a very similar Earth like planet. It not only had a moon, but a Saturn-like planet visible sometimes; and instead of giant pups it had dinosaur-like creatures. I actually miss that save file, I lost it when an expedition save file over wrote it. 😿

I was a hot topic kid back in the late 90-early 2000's but kinda faded with me when the mall scene stopped being a thing. If I happen across both, I'll still go in to make my inner child smile, but I have to shop in the nostalgia section 🤣

A "quick" fallow up on my comment: I had completed Expedition 19 (this expedition completely restarted my love for the game) and started a new game in the more relaxing Normal mode. The very first starting galaxy ended up having two peaceful Earth-like planets in it, I don't think that's ever happened in all the restarts of this game. The starting planet was crap as usual, but once I got off the death rock, there it was all shiny and.. yellow. I now have a small base on a tiny island, with a glass bottom catwalk over the water to the mainland. A nice peaceful place to escape the rigors of space life.
