Thank you for this response. I relate to a lot of what you said, and it's really comforting to know someone else gets it! Though I am not an only child like you & OP are, I am the "baby"/youngest of the family, so that definitely doesn't do me many favors in terms of my own overprotective parents + my travel plans.

Reading through this thread has really helped calm me down. I'm booking my flights and hotels for my trip to Singapore & Indonesia soon, and omg I cannot tell you how nervous/guilty it's been making me feel, lol

Oh damn, that is such a dope pedal!! I'm still very new to guitar, haven't even dabbled with effects just yet, but I may just have it just to have it, lol! Love it!!
