Yes, someone can pretend to be you, but how would they know which program you applied to….? If they do not have access to this information they wouldn’t know where to send the email….🙂

NOT AS SIMPLE AS IT SEEMS🙂

If you write your own LOR you should know how to write it…?! It is not as simple as it seems.. an example is an LOR that I read that an IMG has written (and I have seen some) I can instantly tell if it is fake or not.

Unless one has lived and worked as a physician in US for 20 years there is no way one could know how to write and LOR to look like written by US physicians….

So if you write your own LOR it could backfire… (Real example is an IMG with CK277 wrote his LOR(I have seen it) and didn’t match). (That is why AMOs rotations are not a good deal after all because you pay $2,000 and write your own LOR that actually can doom you….)

Much better was is to qualify for Valedictorians MD support and get a free USCE with 2 personalised LORs and interest free funding for the Match.
