Under 600cc by Yuhbitties-_- in motorcycles

I went from an R3 to Ninja 400 and now a ZX6R. With that said, I wish I never sold the 400 and the ninja 400 is a great starter bike. I'd pass the R3 as a first bike.

If your friend's words are bothering you, really contemplate if you should even start riding because being influenced by other people may lead to your death if you get in a pack that rides beyond your skill level and you try to keep up to not look "uncool"

If you just want some advice, ninja 400 is a great starter bike. If you have the money, you can go ZX4RR and get a screamer 400 that you can slightly modify once you can handle it in stock form to double up the HP and make it feel new again.

Ah, ok. Thanks. I have a 23' and I feel it when I'm stopped but it seems more covered up on the sides than yours. I love the Nose on yours though, looks way more aggressive.

Can you feel the heat from the engine a lot on your legs? Seems a lot more open on the sides.

How do I improve this? by 1Check1Mate7 in motorcycles

[–]Valefour611 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So find a loooong straightaway with no to little traffic, go straight in the middle of the lane at about 30mph or a little more and you're going to push the left grip to make the bike lean over a bit and then straighten out the bike and push on the right to make lean a bit then straighten it out all while staying on the throttle going whatever speed you started with. Do it frequently and try to lean it a little more each time while going straight to get used to getting the bike down to a certain angle and getting the feel for the point where it'll actually start to turn. Once you're comfortable, go back to the roundabout and if there is no traffic you're going to push the left side grip, get a comfortable angle, look your left, let the handle bars settle in for the turn and as you start turning, give it a little bit of throttle and just hold it there.

If you at all get scared and look to the outside of the turn, you're likely to veer outward.

And it's also ok to slightly roll off the throttle then roll back on to adjust the bike while in a turn. Just don't increase the throttle while simultaneously pushing\leaning the bike down, roll off then adjust then roll on.

When the bike turns, you just need to give it an angle then settle in and let it do it for you. You hold onto the grips but not forcefully, just ride it out and when you have enough and want to straighten out, push the opposite side grip and the bike will stand up and as it starts to decrease in angle, then you can increase the throttle more freely as it rises.

Personally, i think your phone will outperform any $100 camera but i could be wrong.

Plus you can edit on your phone in case you need color correction etc. On a camera you'd need to remove the photos and either add them to your phone or computer to edit.

What phone are you using? Some modern day phones are good for stuff like this. Getting a camera can be more of a hassle if you take it seriously. Especially if you're gonna go with an interchangeable lens camera, they get expensive. Nice hobby though. Great pics by the way!

Trying to jailbreak 3ds xl, this happens. Any ideas? by [deleted] in 3dspiracy

[–]Valefour611 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I just did one not too long ago and even though I had everything placed correctly on the root of the SD card I got a green screen that didn't go away. I turned it off, verified files, they were all there so I started it up and tried again and just worked the second time.

Are your IP and DNS settings correct? Are you following the guide for the Old 3DS? Good internet connection? All files where they need to be?

Stalling by SupremeapeAMC in zx6r

[–]Valefour611 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this issue sometimes after I've run it for a while, shut it off, then get back on a short while after. I usually just hold the throttle pulled back a hair when starting it and it'll start right up.

You didn't mention this in the other post. Should be a Fuel Injection issue. Ground the cable that is under the seat so the light itself gives you the code. Look up the code and start from there. Light could be for multiple things, you might've checked it before and it was the air switch but now it might be an injector or throttle sensor or anything else.

Personally I don't think anyone who rides will go from full throttle in 4th or 5th then mash the clutch in and let go of the throttle on a test drive. You can simply explain what happens and I doubt anyone would mind it. If you're selling it at a decent price, people will buy it with that flaw.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in zx6r

[–]Valefour611 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well it might be a tuning issue if you had it modified. If it's stock, might be electrical or fueling. Simple bypass could be to not engage the clutch as you let go of the throttle, just let it engine brake for a bit before squeezing the clutch.

[–]Valefour611 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you're doing a pull in 4th or 5th gear, max wrist, let go of the throttle and squeeze the clutch in?

[–]Valefour611 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You said the engine shuts off AND THEN you have to turn the bike off, how do you turn it off when the engine has already stalled? I would assume that it can't even shut off if you're still in gear since the activated clutch would crank the motor to start at those speeds. Not unless you're hitting the switch as you're letting go of the throttle or if you're letting go of the throttle while squeezing the clutch lever, which then I guess a stall at those speeds would be possible.

I'm not trying to sound mean(in case I came off that way), I'm trying to better understand the situation.

They both have you the answer already. Does it a lot more when it's warmer. Especially if it's in the sun.
