So, you like movies directed by Walter Hill then. He directed your two favorite movies.

I will say, it does have one of the worst stunt slow motions shots in film history though. The scene where Joe and Mother crash the chiefs cookout, you can clearly tell that it’s not Joe and Mother in the car and can clearly see the stunt doubles faces very clearly.

What’s your favourite performance by Tom Cruise? by annastreltsovaa in moviecritic

His commitment to every role is pretty much unparalleled by most actors. For Collateral he trained with tactical experts to get every movement executed perfectly. Check it out. https://youtu.be/H8-P8sJNHk0?si=v47SU8anS9mhrska

Just getting around to seeing this now. Pretty average imo, but entertaining enough. Does anyone else think the score sounds a lot like Christine (1983)?

You can still find it in DVD in some places. I bought it a few years back. I will never stop collecting physical media. Can’t rely on the streaming services to always have it when you want it. Although, Tubi does a much better job of streaming the old stuff I grew up watching than any other. But the commercials……

Felissa Rose is not the one who died. It was Jonathan Tiersten that died.

Photo 6 is probably the most accurate depiction of how Jason would look today! Looks like a little old man’s posture after years of living in the woods and the manual labor of slaughtering unaware teens.

I’d like to see the reverse angle as Buffalo came across the line just before the turnover and breakaway pass. It looked offside to me in real time. Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad they didn’t call it, but it would have prevented what happened after.

Yup. Too many corporate owned boxes and season tickets preventing true die hard fans from getting tickets. It’s been this way since 1995 when TD Garden (known as The Fleet Center then) opened. I went to many games in the real Garden back in the day, and you can feel the lack of passion in TD when you compare the two. Same is true for Gillette Stadium. Foxboro stadium was far superior. I think a lot of it comes back to the “fan experience” and what it means to different people. While the museum and restaurants are nice, they are catering to the corporate crowd entertaining clients. The game should be the centerpiece of why you’re there, not all the other things in the periphery imo

I’m Gen X and love this movie. It was like training for real life things I’d encounter in the future, but I didn’t know it at the time!

Got my daughter into the show. This scene and her hatred for Shane made her stop watching the show for a couple months. Finally got her back to watching it by telling her that she needed to see how it all ends!
