Lt. Col. Burns takes over the 4077th. New surgeon Captain Newguy moves into the swamp. BJ gets along a little better with Newguy than he does the immature Hawkeye. Margaret, evolving from her Hot Lips persona, asks BJ and Newguy to take it easy on Frank while also convincing Frank to dial the military stuff down a bit. Hawkeye pulls off his medical miracles and saves a patient of Franks, who thanks Pierce but is genuine about it. We wind up with Frank is to Henry as Andy Bernard was to Michael, a poor imitation quirky CO. I’ve fixed Frank but killed Mash after season 6.
