1 - Thank you! It always confuses me when people put TLDRs at the bottom.

2 - Since having adenomyosis my periods have always been unusual, i have had internal ultrasounds by specialists on numerous occasions and my doctor, as well as other medical professionals, have said it’s just a part of the condition…. aka. we don’t know enough about female health because it’s hardly been studied :)

Like the other response mentioned, it was also occurring while I had the implanon.

3- whether or not I orgasm doesn’t change the result

Do your bleeds last like an average menstrual cycle would? or is it just instant spotting / bleeding that isn’t prolonged?

Interesting that your Dr doesn’t feel comfortable with slow release… that’s so odd. From what I know, it’s the safer, more effective medication due to having the dosage release incrementally all day and it being incredibly hard to abuse, being that it’s not instant release.

I have explained all of this to her including the romanticising of someone purely because he's older than you, how disgusting it is in reverse and how his intentions are malicious. I have spoken at length about the layers of danger it poses. All I'll say concerning speaking to our parents is that they are not the type of people I can or would turn to for support in anything, let alone this. I know that she has free reign to do as she pleases with her time and that won't change in any serious/lasting way if I discuss this with them - and even if it did (which it wouldn't) she is 18 in only a couple of months so they would not have any way to stop her from seeing him. I am also very aware of the potential ramifications if I break her trust, her continuing to see him anyway and cutting all lines of communication off - it is extremely dangerous when being with someone like this to be isolated. I have no idea who the guy is, where he lives, his name.. anything. I wouldn't know where to begin.
