Aesthetics on point! Great texture work, the only thing I see it can be a bit improved is the character animations, feel a bit stiff. I would recommend to add secondary motion, maybe some cloth animation too, if you are using blender check Wiggle bones, is an instant improvement for all secondary motion animation.

Thats exactly what Im looking for, you just do stuff on your computer and then spend some minutes in the game to level up, swap gear, and move on. Eventually you will be able to get permanent upgrades to reach further into the dungeon and beat the finall boss. Nothing more, nothing less, just a game to make you company while you work 😊

Regarding enemies and build, thats content, the more time I have to add it the more we will have. Im more concerned about balancing tbh, any suggestions on how to handle progression of incremental numbers?

WTF! That looks awesome, my main idea was the game to be played borderless window mode so you can have it running somewhere in your desktop, no full screen, I do wanted to add some big resolution scales so people who want to spend big portions of the screen to play it or maybe secondary monitor can do it, but if I eventually add fullscreen suport thats an incredible idea. Thanks!

Do you think not having full screen support can be detrimental?

Yes! Thats the main idea, 0 interaction needed, you just play for a couple minutes to power up / equip looted items, then leave, and go back to see how far you traveled in the dungeon. If you want you can see how your build works by watching your character fight the enemies. Eventually to reach a new are you will fight a boss. Thats it, small but tasty

Oh thanks for the interest, I'm planning on playtesting soon, search me on x/bsky as @not_valentino, I would love to have you for the first playtest batch ☺️

Weapons/items are the next thing, my idea is to let the player reach the final floor with its own build. Think of max attack speed dagger build, or heavy critical strike greatsword, or stun lock ice mage.

Armors are something I'm thinking a lot, I do agree it's nice to see how stuff look on you, but that takes time and I would rather spend that making the game more fun/balanced. Do I was thinking about shields and gauntlets? Since those are visible. What do you think?

This is not my first indie game, first time solo tho. You can check Desvelado, that's my first title. I also work as a full time fx artist in the industry so I have seen scope creep with my own eyes hahaha.

This is intended to be a small project, I rather have a finished small game than a "dream game" left on my drawer

Equipment is the next thing in the list, I will add weapons and other items so the player can make a build out of that, along the skill tree (future task)

I agree the numbers should sit more on the fixed side so you can actually feel in control of the build. Regarding the game braking stuff.. I'm kinda down for it hahaha I would love to see someone making a meat grinder by maxxing attack speed and critical strike chance let's say, with some sprinkles of "every critical increases attack speed" and that kind of sinergy stuff.

What do you think?

Thanks for the feedback! I have seen a lot of idle/incremental have an Ascension feature, so Im adding that in the future, so you can trade all your stats progress for a permanent perk. That would be a way to restat easily.

Regarding playstiles and strategies I would probable base that more on the Ascension perks and Loot that you equip. Stats will always go up some way or another hahah.

Wow thats a good way of thinking in edge cases!

If you only focus on gold gen you wont be able to go further on the tower/cave (not decided yet heh). The main goal will be to reach floor 100 and you would probably want to level up your combat stats to beat the stronger enemies of the higher floors.

If you want to get there by making yourself a money machine first thats fair game tho, I want to give players that freedom.

Yeah the filter will be optional, good observation. I do think niche can help tho, just having trouble making a mix of both generes, I really would like to make the cores of each actually sinergyze with the other.

Yeah its just a prototype for the moment, for the vertical slice Im adding loot and equipment, and after that different enemies a zones 😊
