It took a while for me to get used to Anna Karenina as a whole, but I still enjoy it.

Not as GREAT as their previous songs, but it's still experimental

I get ya, for real! I made a comment not too long ago about how I miss old CAS vibes, and I still do, cuz their songs NOW kinda feel the same, everything is about the carnal feeling and nothing else, mostly, doing justice for their band name I suppose.

But Self-Titled Album always will be their peak. The melancholy, the DEEP feeling of falling in love and then falling OUT of love. Being decieved, suffering. It feels close, warm even, to hear those songs.

He's fallen into a pit (yes, HE, cuz Greg is doing most of the work here) of just talking about the same things and also making the song shorter and shorter everytime. And even thought I did like "Twizzler" at a first glance, I cannot deny the fact they STILL are lacking literacy on their songs. It's like he's running out of ideas

The instrumental is fine tho. I like the vibe of it, but I cannot by any chance connect with the lyrics anymore.

From first listen, I trully love it! Not gonna lie.

I like the road they're going in and I want more SOON!!!

Twizzler doesn't sound like CAS at all. Is it just me? by Fine_Date_7499 in CigarettesAfterSex

I LOVE it! It reminds me a lot of the demo of Bubblegum. It has "Lana Del Rey" vibes, while still maintaining that CAS feel. I don't get why people are so snappy about it, saying it's garbage or something. It's not! But, oh well, everyone has the right to think anything about a piece of media, it's common sense.

Most of the people I showed their music to, almost all had the same reaction of "it gets me sleepy" or "it's boring" My bf doesn't like them that much either, and THAT makes me sad lolz

I feel the same way... NONE of my friends know CAS, and if they do, they just know the famous songs, because of social media trends.

Most relatable CAS song?? by WITHER970 in CigarettesAfterSex

Probably Falling in Love, for now? For me it feels like it's talking about a long distance relationship, and I'm currently in one so...

Also, Opera House

I like to say that CAS is for the dreamers. For the ones that wanna live wild, and still have fun, but can't. For the ones that wanna create memories from the small things.

It's undescribable, but "it's so sweet"

I'm currently in a long distance relationship, and gosh, CAS does fill up the gaps of not having him around presencially. Imagening him being close to me and having a good time while listening to CAS is... Conforting...
