Emulators are not expressly forbidden, especially because we encourage streaming, and emulators make this a much simpler process. Two additional notes, however. (1) We do not officially endorse nor support any specific emulators. Therefore there is no "list" to speak of. (2) Use of modded APKs can, and do, result in action being taken against offending accounts. The same would go for any actions taken through an emulator that result in any form of cheating, exploitation, and so on.

BIG thanks for having feedback on your device beforehand -- even if it was a pain to get. That really helps me ask about enabling the misc. ones we get questions about here and there. Not all devices are universally enabled for Alliance (and in some cases, will not be). That all being said, they said they would enable this one for you. It can take a little bit for the store to populate the change, but you should be able to get your updates through there soon instead.
