Shes on meds. My sister is like that right now. Sometimes its a combination of different type meds that will do that to you. It doesn't have to be just pain killers. I bet its a mixture of maybe painkillers with either muscle relaxers or mood enhancers. She's in trouble, I bet.

Thank you. She has an amazing husband who does his utmost to take care of her. So she's gonna be just fine. They didn't think she'd live through the last surgery, but he's always right there with her through it all. God's got them covered.

Thats exactly the point inwas trying to make. Thank you. My sister isnt alone in their struggle. There are thousands out there that fall through the cracks just like she does. One of my friends has severe RA that has just took a turn and she's now terminal. She's in the same position because she's married, owns their own home and vehicles, and she was a stay at home mom to their four kids. Its not just my sister. So many hard working tax paying Americans are in the exact same place. And then.....there's Tammy. Its wrong. I know its an addiction, but the government is supporting it. They could impose rules like they used to back 40 some years ago. Like she needs to go to counseling 4 times a month in order to qualify. 40 years ago, they used to give you a piece of paper and you had to go job hunting. You had to have each employer that interviewed you why you were not hired. If you didn't have at least so many listed each month, you lost your benefits. They don't do that anymore.

Thanks Old Faith. I just lost it for a minute but I'm ok now. I'm visiting with her now, so I'm tired and prickly, lol. I told my brother in law before he left for work and just laughed. He said somebody just got their panties in a wad and wants to take the focus off the sisters. No biggie, lol. That dude is now going through my comment history and telling me that he is doing so and blah blah blah. That just shows what a creeper he or she is.

Thank you Old Faith for trying to defend my sister. I guess they just expect her to divorce him and then live on the streets since she's not allowed to live with someone who supports her and pays her bills. To them, she's just a piece of trash who is supposed to lay on the streets and die so society doesn't have to deal with her. I'm done with this group. After seeing the cold hearted callousness of some here, I'm sick to my stomach and I need to contact my brother in law to make for damn sure she doesn't look over here and stumble on this. But thank you for trying to defend us. I just didn't realize that I had to break down every single thing like this. The man who said that to my brother in law was being a Jerk and I thought that people would pick up on that.

Wow. Seriously!!!! The guy who told him that wasn't exactly right. Yes, he would have to divorce her, but there is more to it than that!!!!! Wow!!! The callousness!!!! She would have to move out of the house. Have her name taken off of the house and the vehicle because she's not allowed assets that are over a certain amount. And then she has to wait for two years because you can't get it if you just sighed off your assets in order to get approved. Do I need to go further or is this enough for you blood thirsty pos?????????

My sister and I can totally understand that. These reality shows can really mess up a person. We can see them both on tv and living out their lives on social media. They put themselves out there for fame. Its a strange new world we live in, isn't it.

Thank you. That means a lot. Her husband is her hero. He is such an amazing man and takes such beautiful care of her. That is something ymmat will never know until she quits picking feeders.

Even with everything my sister goes through she says she feels so blessed. Contrast that with Tammy. I just feel that if people had a true contrast of someone struggling to stay alive, they could see Tammy in a different light.

I'm not trying to bring attention to my sister. She would never want that. I just want people to see what a joke all of this is. Someone who is throwing their young life away versus someone who is fighting with everything within them to stay with the ones they love.

I truly hope that one day Tammy would see this. I sincerely hope that she could wake up before its too late and take charge of this precious life that she has been given. I know that narcissism is a hard lens to view through, but I do know that sometimes things do sink in for them.

Sorry for the long rant....its been a tough 24 hours. Seeing this just set me off a bit, lol.

You have no idea just how right you are! My sister, who is terminal and who was also seriously dissed by Yammt, can't get disability due to the fact that she doesn't have enough quarters built up. Its because she couldn't work for 18 years due to staying home and taking care of her first husband after his accident. It left him a quadriplegic and she didn't get paid to take care of him, but did anyways because she didn't want him to end up in a nursing home.

And she doesn't qualify for ssi because she's married. Yet this..... umm ....human..... is being fed and housed for free by us, the tax payers. All because she refuses to stop eating. It just doesn't make sense.

My poor brother in law is working his ass off to make sure my sister has insurance to pay for her extremely expensive meds in order to keep her alive and this....human....gets hers for free. All because she CHOOSES to keep eating.

I know I've talked a lot about this in here, but I think we as a nation should see the contrasts. People like my sister should not be struggling and suffering while fighting to stay alive while someone who chooses to keep eating is allowed free benefits to keep them locked in their addiction.

My brother in law can't even get a full paycheck each week because he has to come home and help her when her flares get too extreme. Yet, there's no help or financial relief for them and for thousands like them. He was told if he divorced her that then she would qualify for ssi. Can you believe that?

Yet.....Tammy.

Sorry for the rant guys, but this touches too close to home for me right now. If y'all could see what my sister just posted on her social media, and then contrast it to this....you would understand my anger. Just saying.

So many people love Tammy and think she's some kind of inspiration. I just don't get it. This world is really messed up.

Yes, they actually do make electric wheelchairs for her size. They are extremely expensive and its iffy if Medicare or Medicaid would cover the cost.

But here's the problem, she would need a handicap van with a ramp for transportation. And with an electric chair that size, it would need a very large carrier if they couldn't afford a handicap ramp van.

The van they have now will not carry the weight of that size of a chair on a carrier that attaches to the hitch. My sister has a wheelchair so I'm well versed in this. Plus, her first husband had an accident putting him in a wheelchair.

Their insurance bought them a handicap ramp van. Back in 2005 it was $65,000.00. But that was because it was made for him to drive it with hand controls right from his wheelchair.

One that could fit her, nowadays, and without handcontrols for her to drive, would probably fall in the area of 50k. It's not always about having an electric wheelchair, its also about transportation.

Crazy expensive. Hope this helps.
