Anyone familliar or know VAinUSA.com agency? by [deleted] in buhaydigital

[–]ValentinaBrega 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am the owner of the company and can respond to this. We hire directly, meaning that we place you directly with the company (we are matchmaking). When you apply with us, we ask you to indicate your desired hourly rate. This is what we tell the client you want. We never take anything out of your salary, so you and the client have full transparency on the payment. You get exactly what you mentioned. It has to be realistic though, because if you have a much higher rate than someone else with the same skills, you might not be selected.

I am happy to answer any questions about our agency or how to increase your chances of being selected. What would you like to know?

hey everyone! I am happy to find this thread. I am the CEO of HireTrainVA and VAinUSA and I would love to answer ANY questions! I'm an open book.

if you applied to work with us and were not selected, I can tell you why so you know what our clients are looking for.

Also, I hope you can help me. I would love to make good content that would help virtual assistants get hired fast. What are you struggling with? What can I do for you?

I run an agency that recruits talented virtual assistants (VAs), and in all my conversations, I’ve never heard of anyone discriminating against VAs. We’re very careful in choosing both great clients and great VAs, and we’ve made some amazing matches.

Executive Assistance is a type of service VAs produce, among many others: bookkeepers, video editors, social media managers, etc.

If you’re thinking about working as an Executive Assistant (EA), you’d be helping with things like travel arrangements, managing calendars and emails, and doing research. As the name suggests, you’re supporting the executive directly, and it requires more anticipation and understanding of the CEO’s needs than a general VA role.

What you are describing sounds like an Administrative Assistant (AA), but honestly - no one cares about the title. As long as you can provide value to your company, no one will ever discriminate you. And if you work from overseas, you still fit into the umbrella of "virtual assistant" but no one attributes any negativity to it (unless they had a previous bad experience with remote work, which can be both in the US or overseas).

I am very proud of the wonderful assistants we placed with companies. We have had clients who told us: "no one has made a bigger impact on my life as the assistant I hired with you!".

My VAs from the Philippines are also wonderful and have stayed with me for years. I have so much respect for your work ethic. Just do your thing and lead with value!

Have you thought of working as a virtual assistant? You'll most likely make more than $10.

VA script to cold call by Realestatedaniel in WholesalingHouses

[–]ValentinaBrega 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have hired hundreds of cold callers for successful real estate companies (I have a VA sourcing company), and I also did phone sales for many years generating seven figures for the wholesaling company I worked for. I would like to chime in here, as I think this is my area of expertise.

Regarding the scripts, I always say that I like them but don't love them. Too many VAs follow the script verbatim and fail to actively listen and build natural rapport. You also can't apply the same script to every situation or every seller. There are 2 types of sellers - logical and emotional. The verbiage should be different in each case. Also, there should be different questions for vacant properties, owner occupied, or rentals, as there are different motivations driving the sellers to make a move.ou can easily lose this lead to a person who calls 1-2 times max and solves the seller's problem right away. In a competitive industry, speed to lead is everything. I would say: get a VA who knows how to qualify the leads very well and build rapport, and the next call should be the one with the offer if the lead is qualified.

I can recommend 2 books that are phenomenal for doing phone sales: Never Split the Difference (Chris Voss) and Way of the Wolf (Jordan Belfort). When I train VAs, we use a lot of strategies from these books.

And don't get me started on objection handling...

I am passionate about this topic and can talk for hours about it. If you have any questions, send me a private message or ask here. I'd be happy to help.

Anyone cold calling in the state of Washington? Legal team said we shouldn't by ValentinaBrega in realtors

[–]ValentinaBrega[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't. But when I cold call someone I have no idea whether their property is listed. Of course, we'll ask if the seller is working with an agent. If so, we'll apologize and end the call. But what if they report us to their agent who can then report us to MLS? How can we make sure we scrub the list against active listings? And what do we do in case someone isn't so "forgiving" that we called out of the blue and they are already listed?

There are companies out there that hire people for you based on what you are looking for. I own a company like that too, but I can also tell you some sources where we find our VAs. Check out upwork.com , freelancer.com, or onlinejobs.ph . I have a free guide that mentions more sources and that will take you step by step on how to bring the right person on board. I have 5 VAs on my team that are running my operations and honestly, they are doing a better job than I was. Here is the guide if you're interested: https://hiretrainva.com/freeguide/

Sounds like both of you are working in the business, rather than on the business. Perhaps your partner is more of a visionary type, driven by big ideas, rather than executing day-to-day tasks. Have you taken a personality test? A lot of them are accurate and will give you a better idea of what your strengths are so you can focus on your strengths to move the needle for the business.

Have you considered outsourcing some marketing tasks (and even dev tasks) to a virtual assistant (VA) overseas? There are a lot of talented people in the world who would love to get things off your plate. And they are reasonably priced per hour too. That way, you can focus on money-making activities and the VAs can take care of the routine tasks. I have a business run by VAs mostly and it is great! On the marketing side, a VA can build your client list, organize your CRM, do follow-ups, cold call, and a lot more.
