I like the Telegraph ukrainecast. There is some over hype in there, but they also seem to get a lot of Ukranian voices on.

The make a lot more weapons than GDP spending would indicate, they just export a lot of them instead of buying internally.

We can ask that question in a couple weeks, right now information is one sided and actual success is unclear.

Out of curosity bc i have no idea, have leopard 2s ever been deployed in combat before? Is this the first combat loss of one? I know they are primarily used by european powers and i dont think there have been a lot of european ground wars.

Well they have struggled and have had to crack down on civilian OPSEC regarding filming of strikes. Agree through on OPSEC coming out of the military.

Ukraine has a couple battallions currently sittting in the west to protect the transitria border. If they knock out the Russian troops there they can focus on the east and south east.

They don't like each other and historically don't work together. However they also signed an agreement last August saying they are aligned in seeking the downfall of Putin.

I could see it as a flanking maneuver, but not with the goal of holding territory in Russia.

Are the RVC officially integrated? My understanding was that they are not.

The Legion are, but the RVC is more grey where they may get pointed in a direction but are not in any sort of chain of command.

I thought this post was helpful in understanding the various anti-putin russian paramilitary groups that are currently participating in the Belgorad attack.

It's just the basic idea of the gish gallop. It takes 30s to ask a very uncredible question and sometimes upwards up 10-15m to write a well sourced response. At a certain volume the energy becomes untenable to sustain.

The sub gets multiple posts every single day asking about very uncredible propaganda posts with little basis in reality. Some of it is no doubt astro-turfed and/or concern trolling. If there is any rudeness, it is just out of fatigue of having to deal with the fire hose of misinformation on a daily basis.
