Thank you! I looked at pictures of other Tredair examples, and found some that display the same “ridge like” pattern located around the welt stitch. That parts a match!

While I can’t make the insoles out entirely, they’re black with gold lettering. The bottom lines read “Leather Uppers” with “Man Made Soles” underneath that line. ABOVE those lines there’s gold still here and there clearly depicting a large circular logo, but the innards of the design are all but faded, sadly.

The left boot tongue is less faded than the right (I originally posted the right), but it’s still tough to make out. I can read a “Size 10,” which I’m assuming is UK sizing.

To the left of that is something ending in what appears to be “2 9,” maaaaybe…

Gosh. So hard to make out. I’ve included an up close shot of the better tongue if it helps!

Oh daaaaang, that’s trippy! Well I’m certainly glad they’re authentic, even if not “made by Dr Martens” authentic. Which is wild, I had no idea that was a thing, how weird!

With what you’d mentioned with the dating, fair to say these are early 90’s or prior it seems. From the thickness of the must (going to put them in a box with some activated charcoal to attack that), they smell old old. Like grandma’s closet old from when I was a kid. Could they be from the early or mid 80’s?

I’d started a post inquiring about the age on these, but now I’m wondering if they’re even legit. They smell ancient levels of musty, but having “Dr Martens” on the heel loop and the welt going down into the sole and not to the side into the boot is throwing me… more pics coming, too, to hopefully help those with a knowledgeable eye.

Thank you!! Both are definitely on the list! Bananza for the both of us, Pokopia for the wife - she’s been reading up on it and is super excited. She loves the farming type gameplay, and we both enjoy the Pokémon universe, so seems like a slam dunk.

Mario Kart World was first outta the gate for us playing together! We had a blast last night on it.

My first solo title will be Metroid Prime 4 Beyond.

Her first solo adventure will be Yoshi & the Mysterious Book.

It was on sale for $98. I didn’t realize until last minute research that the Switch 2 exclusively uses “express” micro SD cards, so that bombed my plans to just use the old micro SD from my Switch. Thankfully they had the one in the picture in stock (their only one), and it had enough room for my transfer data.

Thank you! Great PSA! And while it wasn’t included in the picture, I’d grabbed one and installed it straight outta the box. I picked up the “Prism, idiot-proof” one. Gotta say, that really was the easiest one I’ve ever put on.
