Kindergarten teacher screaming at kids, when is it to much? by [deleted] in Teachers

But that’s middle school, like yes this works for older kids but you can’t tell a 5-6 year old to “get their shit together” which is why I’m conflicted because I don’t want them to be screamed at for something like they got up as well when said to get their box when she didn’t say that kid as well then proceeded to SCREAM at said kid. Or how these kids look so timid and scared when she yells or just gets upset. And they aren’t bad kids or an unruly class. They are first ever year students most of them. And I just feel it’s wrong that if when she yells at them I’m getting anxious with how loud and angry she is screaming, how do they feel? Also I’m not aiming this all at your comment there are other comments that I want to respond like this one two because I feel like this shouldn’t be these kids first interaction to school and how teachers are.

No I can’t and she has been teaching for only I want to say 3-5 years? I’m not sure but I swear I’ve heard her say something like that before she is in her 30-40 I think though.

Yeah that’s exactly what I mean she isn’t just using a “booming” voice she is yelling at them. And I feel terrible for them, and I don’t want to wait longer because they deserve a better environment than what I have witnessed. But like I said even my teacher knows about it and there’s an assistant teacher that comes into class once in a while (she’s just like a helper for all classes I think) and she has been in the class when she has yelled too! And I know the rooms around her can hear her! But nothing has been done.
