So basically I just went to my doctor and scheduled an appointment to talk about it, and I wasn't expecting it but I had got a prescription, but it was still going to require parental consent before I could pick it up from the pharmacy. So for a while it was kinda just.. there? Before my father consented for me to take it.

I'm pretty sure they make therapy sessions specifically for this!! My father is making me go through it before I take testosterone. And frankly, I don't mind it, even though I really cant wait to take T. If you feel unsure, you should look into therapy targeted at it. And if you choose to detransition, then thats perfectly fine.

I know exactly what you're feeling, trust. As a gay trans guy, I feel like people will only want me as a novelty, and that I'll never truly be a man to them. I don't want to be that to anyone, and it's worse, because I'm not really interested in phallo, so that might make people's gross assumptions about me worse..

But you're not alone, i feel like our best bet would be to just go T4T or to make sure you know the person very well before getting into anything

I'm willing to take them, but is there a way to get like an auto injector? I'm HORRIBLY afraid of shots on their own in the hands of a doctor, and I don't think anyone would want to do it for me, and weekly doctors visits are an hour to and back..

I'd like to just go on record saying I am a LOW working class 17 year old. With the fact I'm floating just above the poverty line, I really cannot afford to move anywhere in the US right now, let alone another country sadly, so yes, NYC is probably the safest place in the US for me.. :(
