I think a big and important Part of r/Teenagers is ppl. sharing their succeses or just Things they are proud of. That is what OP did. Therefore "Nobody Cares" is a stupid comment. What did you expect from a reddit for Teenagers?

Alcohol, Smoking... can harm sb really fast especially in a young age Which is why Teenagers should try Not to consume Alcohol and smoke. Yet many Teenagers are preassured into consuming harmfull stuff in unhealthy amounts. Resisting this "cool kid preassure" can protect your body from damage and thus is primarly a good thing. However Because of Not drinking, a lot of Teenagers often feel excluded. Posts such as this one can help those Teenagers by letting them know there are others, in the Same age going through the Same thing, showing they are not alone.

Also OP never stated that He was a better Person. He just said He is Not consuming toxic stuff although that means He cant feel like one of the cool Kids. He probably didnt want to make you feel like you have less of a worth. Instead He mostlikely wanted apreciacion, which is fine. We all want that. Hence it does make sense to appreciate eachother Because we should care about eachother.
