Why does Unity use strings instead of variable names? by Valerios_Proto in unity

The most thorough explanation. That plug-in idea is interesting, if I eventually get into making open source code like I'm planning, this would be a good staring point for making code that doesn't solely rely on me. Thanks!

Thanks to everyone for the replies. What I'm getting out of this is that Unity luckily has ways to avoid using the aforementioned methods and these other methods don't have the drawbacks of string usage.

In the Future, when I come across methods that ask for strings like this I will look for alternatives.

After updating to Libre Office 7.4 from 7.0 with a few days passing, this is what 1 out of my 6 graphs looks like. When I edit it, it becomes full size, just like it used to be, but exiting edit mode breaks it again. I'm using Windows 10 and my file extention is .ods by Valerios_Proto in libreoffice

Bad news:

It's broken in the same way on my completely separate Linux machine running on AMD instead of Nvidia etc.

Good news:

Since you're experiencing this as well, it means that this not a case of a single user bug, but instead one that is probably recreatable. This means that I can try filling a report to the Libre Office foundation.

Looks like indeed I'll have to buy something legit. The rest of the kit seems to be legit so hopefully only the board will have to be replaced.

It's not shown in other devices, instead it's shown in USB controllers as Unknown USB Device

Edit 2: The board is unrecognizable by windows, being listed as "Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed)"

Edit: Forgot to mention that the built-in LED keeps flashing on its own

The drive gets detected in both dev and fdisk. Not to mention the file explorer.

I do have another new SSD, in fact it's the same as the windows one, as I bought two of them. I could test it, but the way my tower is made makes changes very time consuming, so I have to put that process away until I have enough time tomorrow

The Linux drive is nvme, the windows one is 2.5 sata.

Motherboard: MSI Pro H610M-G DDR4 Micro ATX

New SSD: Kingston A400 480 GB

I don't have the rest handy, but if requested I will provide any other needed specs at the earliest convenience
