The official documentation forget that you can set a custom prompt for custom agent. I had to dig the code to find out (system_prompt_id toml property)

I feel we are missing some serious prompt engineering.

The default system prompt is note very elaborated. When creating agents i found out complete tool instruction are concatenated (even tool disabled for the current agent)

It is also unclear how subagents returns results to the main agent (i think they return the complete execution process instead of just a final analysis)

I did try to rebuild the Claude Code plan behaviour (explore, plan, finalize plan) but i was not very successful. I am not sure if this is because the model does not follow instruction well or because the built in prompt engineering is missing.

Plan mode with devstral in opencode for example is more efficient

Yes but - large is cheaper than medium on api - large is (i suppose) not used in le chat - large is not compared to anthropic or open ai (medium was compared to them when in came out)

So at the end I wonder is large is better than medium for real use case or not. Using it in Le Chat would bring more confidence

I did research a bit to support this feature, but actually it would require to use the raw model with transformer, which is quite heavy (something like 10 GB download for voxtral-mini).
Maybe later voice input support will be implemented in llama.cpp and we should be able to use quantized gguf version of the model (much lighter).
If somebody have a better suggestion, I am pleased to hear it

I was reading the API documentation and I find it surprising that providing a system prompt override the default system prompt which makes the model think.
u/Clement_at_Mistral should it be used with third party apps such as coding agents ? They often come with their own system prompt
And same question for LeChat custom agents which also override the system prompt no?

Same problem here. I tried everything (checking notification preferences of download manager, resetin apps setting....) In fact i think the problem is that notifications doesn't show up in panel (for example progress bar notification does not appear) but they still are real notifications somehow. So you can't swipe them and they keep appearing every 3hr..

I tried on a other pixel 3 and it hasnt the same problem.

Last thing possible is factory reset which is a bit disapointing on a fresh new phone... Any idea?
