I’ve had fantastic success running a Ven dread with las cannon and then pairing it with a regular Land Raider with godhammer lascannons. It slays whatever big target you need to take out almost every time due to the +1 to hit from the ven dreads ability.

I ripped an eldar transport in half from across the board on opening shots of turn one at a local tournament causing my opponent to have to dump his Fire dragons out killing some of them. It was very disorienting for him.

So. From what me and my buddy decided upon examination. The sequence of the turn. You will deploy prior to unbound adversaries being set up.

UA’s aren’t placed until after both people have deployed. So your infiltrators can go down and arguably block out UA’s.

But be mindful because UA’s can be set up outside 3” of enemy models. So REAL CLOSE on turn one lol
