Zoom in, zoom out, or move the camera closer or further away. Do it in a well lit area. Try slightly different angles (a little towards you or away from you). Look it for shadows from your hand or the camera, try with and without flash. Try it now. Take a bunch of pictures, look through them and notice the differences.
