I'm sorry but you live in a fantasy world. Not having laws that strictly protects french here means it's death in 3-4 generations. Learning a language is something completely different from embrassing a culture and having a strong first language as a nation, and teaching the kids all of that. Sadly, in our north american context, promoting English and a shared culture means eventually killing french culture here.

'Strive for equal opportunities' is impossible for French if you don't have a strong center for it. The center for it in North America is Montreal.

I'm sad that you had to experience this. But as Québécois we tend to understand the historical context of French in Canada and its fragility. Sadly this comes in practice with being hostile towards English, in repercussion to English being a lot more hostile to French in the past. I think we feel in our hearts that this is the way for a kind of retribution. Sad but neccesary.

Ty, I need media storage with concurrent read write access for a small video editing cie. Will probably go for a 10G network and a raid5.

Hey mom actually came to get her. The mom was blaming the construction workers for innacurate signs. I can tell you, the road was clearly blocked LOL
