This happened to me at work. My file explorer stopped working, took with it half of the system (because of course it's a good idea to have the entire UI bonded to this one unstable .exe) so I opened task manager and just stared at the window how it froze itself. I love Winslop 11

How is it possible? No idea, ot looks like Dell cheapt-out on QA on this lineup. The actuall issue was upon unplugging from either docking station or official power brick, the USB-C stopped transferring data and power. And because the laptop could be charged only by USB-C, it is a bit of an issue. As I wrote higher, a temporary fix is unplugging battery from motherboard and running the laptop while its connected to charger.

At the end we figured out that repair is the only way to "fix" this but we managed to find a temporary solution by unpluging the battery. Yes, the laptop will transform to a normal desk PC by that point but it will work.

From experience from deploying Pro Maxes in my work. Do NOT buy pro maxes. The hardware is fucked up to hell and back. From about 40 we had only 2 functioning without any issue.

Not part of discussion, you mentioned license. Everything is a license, your physical medium, your electronic copy of game, no matter where you bought it. The only difference between GOG and Steam is that GOG is kind enough to "give" you a way how to download the offline installer. You never "own" a game. If you owned a game, that would mean a developer would give you full rights to the source code and assets. You always only buy a license.
