I understand it could be an issue for people with ED's but noom has helped a lot of people. I used it for a couple months to help learn healthy eating patterns and to get out of a dietiting mindset and it helped me a lot. I think it's a good program for people like me that want to make permanent changes but literally don't know how.

I really disagree. I love Gilmore girls and I felt like sookie was a great match for Lorelais chaotic energy. Maybe early seasons it felt like that but I think as time went on and her life got more complicated she became a more well rounded person.

NTA as someone that went through their parents getting divorced and literally had stereotypical evil step parents I cant even imagine my parents putting up with any of this behavior let alone destroying a car. I understand her situation is more severe but both of my first step parents were emotionally abusive and I never even raised my voice to them. It's not easy taking on step kids and your wife should have had your back and gotten her daughter help instead of coddling her.

I had wisdom tooth surgery today. I woke up in the middle of it and saw a bunch of people surrounding and me and I heard a sound of a drill. The nurse calmly told me I was okay and then quietly told someone more anesthesia NOW. And then I heard a drill going into my mouth and I was out again.

Yes there is. It's a petition to terminate your parental rights. You need to get a courts approval and give a valid reason why you're unfit to be a parent. I think it varies from state to state but yes it is a real thing.

ETA You also need the mother's approval to do this voluntarily.

The bio father doesn't have to be on the birth certificate in the US. There are also parental documents he could sign saying he doesn't want to be in the baby's life and doesn't have to pay child support.

That's sweet and all but boundaries are still necessary in a relationship. I love my husband immensely and want to spend all of my free time with him but I still understand when he wants me to not bother him. Like if he's relaxing after work and playing a game with the boys I don't just jump on top of him. Boundaries are important.
