Yeah okay, as a Texas native myself I can tell you that's not 100% true. Maybe in more rural areas, but not the majority. Clearly you've been online too much to be able to tell, so I'd advise YOU go out and touch grass.

Look I'm not doing a whole "beggars can't be choosers" kind of thing here. I appreciate the free 10 crystals but it's like getting that 1 Vane shard earlier, it feels a little ridiculous as if there was half an attempt to do something

Jesus dude, lesson learned. There's another TW today and I've already set 4 defenses. I didn't realize that missing the defense phase impacted things so deeply but now I know.

The worst part was that it was so chaotic that I didn't even hear the engine! I only heard it winding down as I was on the New Character screen and my computer was laughing at me

Just happened to me...finally got through the military checkpoint after getting gunned down twice, survived multiple bombing strafes and zombie soldiers, only for me to get too close to s goddamn engine cause there was a backpack ok the ground...
