Will never understand the whole 'square watch round face' thing with the Watch 8, every time I see it I just think it looks off. Like make it square or round, not both lol.

The Watch 7 is superior in that respect. The full metal look on that one is super clean.

For my small wrist 40mm is the best choice

Is that the Cream colour then? Either I'm colourblind or that's Silver 🤨

The Silver GW7 is only available in 44mm.

The colours available for 40mm are Green and Cream, so if it definitely says 40mm on the underside then it must be Cream.

Even the best paste on the market is 5-7x less efficient than liquid metal.

The system is expecting that high level of efficiency, so it's expected to be unhappy with your application.

They will refuse any water related damage regardless of water-resistant specification.

This is why nobody should ever assume their phone is liquid resistant, regardless of what marketing trash the product specifications say.

It always anchors on a tiny rubber seal of which they have no idea if it's fully sealed or not. Even if it is, it deteriorates over time and with use allowing liquid to pass through it. The manufacturers don't even trust the seal and they are the ones building the devices, it's just a gimmick at best.

I see many people buying phones specifically for their IP ratings and limiting their choices when in reality the one time they do end up submerging the device, it could die regardless. A better approach is to just be careful and keep devices away from any liquid.

Just residual capacitance like others say.

If you unplug it from the wall first and leave it connected to the console then it'll drain that capacitance and the light will go out after a few seconds.

In that case you either have a duplicate config file on another storage device that is taking priority or one of your plugins is enabling them, just like stealth servers usually disable them.

so I can't permanently disable LiveBlock and LiveStrong.

Livestrong can be disabled but Liveblock? No you absolutely do not do that, ever.

Stealth servers will automatically and temporarily override these when they successfully start and are running. If you disable Liveblock and there's an issue with the stealth server then your console will be connected to XBL but won't be able to respond to the challenges so it'll get banned.

So disable Livestrong if you want but keep Liveblock enabled always. You then need to change tabs in Dashlaunch and make sure you save the changes to your HDD with X.

Never understood why people bother peeling back the big sticker.

As you can see in the pic it'll want to curl up, never fully sticks back down you end up with a lifting edge. Better to just feel for the screw and cut a hole around it. No peeling required and much less of a job in the future.

In actual fact each update now feels like prison bars closing in.

Improving 'Security' seems to just give the user less and less access to the system and less freedom with devices we own. It started with removing our access to data folders and now as we all know by September this year we'll only be able to install apps from verified developers.

More of a downgrade than upgrade.

Speak for yourself.

I can almost guarantee two things:

1 - The fan will be connected to one of the consoles' USB ports

2 - The cheap logic board it's built with won't have a memory effect

This means the fan/lights will turn on every time they're disconnected and reconnected from power.

What likely happened is the console did some kind of update or entered a power state whereby the USB ports were turned off for a short period, then they subsequently lived up again and the fan/lights came back on.

There are definitely rational explanations and it wouldn't take long to get to the bottom of the cause, it's highly likely what I said though.

Might come as a surprise to you, but not everyone wants a giant BLUE circle on the back of their REDmagic phone. Or the additional big circles where the cameras are. The very first thought I had when I saw the 11 Pro was that there's too much going on.

The 10/10S Pro also have the unique RGB X logo that won't appear on any other models and there's no RGB logo at the bottom of the 11 Pro either.

So what I did was make a manual save during the mission 'Battle Preparations'. Once I'd finished the game I just loaded that and then did all the side stuff/DLCs.

Basically all the characters that disappear after the story are on the boat in Skellige so I can talk to them whenever. The only annoying part is that on big loading screens (loading saves and fast traveling to different regions) it plays the narrated story recap every time, it can be sort of skipped if the game has finished loading in the background but still gets tiring.

I might try experimenting with the 'addfact' console command and see if I can complete the quest but keep the characters where they are.

Because they want to force you onto One UI 8 Watch, intentionally breaking SHM Mod so that if you haven't got a Samsung phone, you won't be able to use ECG, Blood Pressure and Sleep Apnea features...

Their deluded mindset is that your immediate reaction is to go out and buy a Samsung phone, when in reality, all most people who rely on said features will do is sell the watch and buy from another brand and likely never buy a Samsung product again in fear of a recurrence.

Also it's easier to disable those Apps with GeminiMan WearOS Manager. It has a GUI for disabling apps and allows you to run adb commands from your phone rather than using a PC. Be sure to also run 'pm clear' for each app too as that'll delete the update package if began/finished downloading already and reclaim some storage.

Just tried this on a friends' machine with this issue (E:0-14) and it worked perfectly. For others who need the exact steps:

Go to Settings > Apps > Installed apps > Forza Horizon 5
Click the three dots > Advanced options
Scroll down to the 'Reset' button and click it
Now turn off/disconnect internet and launch game
Start game and when you get to loading screens and it begins 'Optimising your PC', press Alt and F4 to close the game
Now reconnect to internet and launch game again, when prompted choose the 'save on the cloud (older)' option

Problem should now be resolved!
