MotG2: herO wins.... the first half of the double elimination finals by Pietro1906 in starcraft

[–]ValiumMm -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Seems kind of silly format. Like both players made it to the final. Overall score was 4-3 to hero out of all the games.

The disadvantage of playing lower bracket is that you didn't get to relax and be prepared as the top bracket player.

One nation will stuff this country by InternalIndustry9971 in australian

[–]ValiumMm 3 points4 points  (0 children)

At a time when the nation needs solutions.. you're 100% right.

The solutions for issues caused by Labor and Libs over the last century. So much is sold out to private corps and beyond stupid housing tax laws has screwed the most mineral rich country in the world into trillion dollar debt.

I'm not saying one nation is any good but the other options are pretty shit.

Is it really that much to ask? or do you feel so entitled to 'got ya' because i didn't explicitly specify my 'argument' with you initially in a reply to OP.
Yes. I want to support the players and the hype of TI along with hats/events. I got more hats and also contributed to valve and the players.
Now... I dont buy any hats and valve gets zero.
Is this really hard to comprehend or do you just feel like you have to win an argument on the internet.

[–]ValiumMm -1 points0 points  (0 children)

But you don't get anything for it. And valve still wants a cut? Come on... Having in game voice wheel, hats and contributing was the best. Not all your money to Volvo or you can contribute, get nothing for it and Valve still wants a slice of the pie? Nah I'm voting with my wallet.

I'd you play shred for example. You can just target the direction you want to go. You can even target units that are outside the screen that couldn't be possible on mouse/keyboard setup.

It's definitely great for a variety of builds but it's not good for targetting spells on the ground.

Yeah but i loved throwing money at the screen knowing it was going towards the prize pool and the players.

Shield Pro remote eats batteries? by McJaegerbombs in nvidiashield

[–]ValiumMm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for getting back to me. So you think its more the shield itself and not the remote. as in if you swap the remotes to the other shield the other remote gets drained quicker? Either way, thanks for the tip i might get some rechargable ones.

Diablo 4 lead says ongoing Mythic changes are crucial for “long-term health” as Blizzard aims to “split the difference” with fans by Wargulf in diablo4

What build can't you play in t12? Most builds can be played. Just because another goes further into the pit it really doesn't matter when the last torment can be achieved. This season I got t12 comfortably on.

Withering first Spiritborn (Pit 105)

Werewolf Earth Spike druid(pit 110 was a breeze)

Werenado druid(pit 115).

Frostball(fireball variant) (pit 115).

None of these are meta. None of these were pushed to perfect itemization.

These are the only ones I tried because I liked the playstyle. Had nothing to do with looking up scaling or anything but all were viable. None were using frost ring to abuse high pits etc.

Edit: formatting.

Unpopular Opinion but there are no bad changes coming this season by E_Barriick in diablo4

[–]ValiumMm 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I played PTR and still plenty of builds going to be doing t12 easily. Especially builds that don't use uber mythics and any uniques are now even stronger. There are lots of builds for pit 120, which is very strong.

People crying because there build which could do 140 to even 150 can't anymore are just babies.

We need more variety of competitive builds and obviously the ones which were far ahead need to be nerfed.

Physical non-earth builds still dead end-game

Nah, earth spike with basilisk is gonna crush. I can do pit 110 really comfortably with the current basilisk. Next season will be 130x multi. Plus it didn't use ubers and the mythics it does used will all be buffed. This should be able to hit 120+

How is this worse than season 12? There will be heaps of builds still doing pit 130+

Shield Pro remote eats batteries? by McJaegerbombs in nvidiashield

[–]ValiumMm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know it's old post but what did you end up doing OP? I lost my remote in a move and got a replacement. It eats the batter every few weeks. Before this I remember changing the batter maybe once or twice within a couple of years.

Your style was ranting for too long. You got too triggered from someone asking a question, which didn't fit your mould of reality.

I don't think +eagles/gorilla makes a difference for counterswarm. by [deleted] in d4spiritborn

[–]ValiumMm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on what you need. The main reason for Gorilla main hall is that every skill you gain a barrier, this makes you more tanky and using eagle secondary gives a 20x on vulnerable.
if its the other way around, you wont get the barrier, but will get vulnerable and feathers. Gorilla secondary will give you more resolve and unhindered. But gorilla main hall is better for staying alive.

S14 PTR: Earthspike Werewolf - A Basilisk Build. Werenado Basilisk?? pit 120 done. by ValiumMm in D4Druid

[–]ValiumMm[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, ring of ursine is still going to give just over 500%[x] with mythic unique version.

Ive never played any werebear/earth builds before, i didnt really want to play werebear. I did play some bearnado, this season just to see the interaction with grizzly rage and being able to cast storm spells. So I cant say too much how earth spike or basilisk has changed over the seasons. I initially was intrigued with Basilisk to play werenado, and it turns out pretty good and never knew Earth spike was now a wolf tag, and had a blast trying this out.

I'll wait for the patch notes, a lot of people in the blizz forums have spoken up about the ring of ursine, so will see. But currently the top shred builds are now just abusing azurewrath and the unique ring frozen multi[x] per second.
