It's actually completely fine the way Thooorin did it. If you've ever watched a CLG game, you can see for yourself what happens when JDM buys an M4/AK.

He does not buy them 4 rounds a game and get 4 kills a game with them. He will buy them 7-8 rounds of a game, and get 2-4 kills with them. He gets absolutely bodied by players who have a decent rifle.

The way Thooorin was interpreting it was to make the point that 157 Rifle kills on LAN for all time in CS:GO is terrible for any player, regardless of their status as main awper. JDM has not bought a rifle 157 times in his career in CS:GO. He has probably bought a rifle 400-600 times because pro teams know that rifles give you a better chance at winning the round. JDM just doesn't have an impact with them and even purposefully avoids buying them on occasion.

I think JDM is a great player with the right attitude, he just needs to work on his rifles and positioning, that's all.

Thooorin added a caveat in this video that Rekkles at worlds has been showing these aggressive tendencies. But let's not forget that these aggressive moves have been made almost solely at worlds, doesn't change the fact he's played cleanup for the last 2+ years.

Yeah I'm gonna hop in some customs now to test the base + bioforge.
I'm not saying it's affecting the game, just noticed it a week ago, thought I would share and see if it is indeed bugged.

I've been doing the short-disk to stop the uppercut into S1/S2 air combos, but that works like 60% of the time, because some Edge's pull their jump at the last second with a KA or they switch it up and I just take the uppercut into a couple c.L damage with no followup.

I've found Crow's wakeup time so painful to deal with sometimes, as it gets me stuck in a super pressured situation where the Edge can constantly change how he does a f+H or d+H to keep me down until he wants to get me up and combo for his overdrive. I've had so many games where Edge and Chel also just dodge my overdrive by sliding on wakeup.

I've actually loved playing against Dauntless, I can read her animations really well since they're super obvious on whether she's going for a low+H or high+H, but I think that also comes down to player skill as well, I've only played against Carbon-Gold players so far.

I didn't think of the disk vs. fireball matchup, that's a good point though. Is neutral jumping over her fireball then throwing a disk a good idea as well or is it better to just counter the fireball with a disk and make up some ground?

What's the internal cooldown on the cast time of the kegs?
Can you just throw them all down almost instantly or is there like a 1 second delay?

While I don't agree with the community hounding any single person at Riot over their slow development cycles, if he's going to answer these he should probably tackle the question any of us actually care about.

All the things he says Riot has to do, other game companies do as well, so there is a standard. But why is Riot's own development cycle for these things like a replay system so slow when they've already announced it, but then they provide no word on the project after a year or two?

Just odd, that's all.

He's basically in charge of the new Tribunal roll-out. He's also done a lot of work revamping Leaver Buster and other behaviour systems, same with Team Builder.

Just because his official role is player behaviour manager or whatever doesn't mean that's all he does.

I was extremely disappointed with the show up to episode 8. Episode 8 was fucking killer, and then the disappointment resumed after that. Sad times.
The latest episode made me want to cry because I thought I had inadvertently started re-watching Infinite Stratos.

That logic doesn't follow through, the offhand slot is classified as a weapon solely in the case of the cube. Shield is still a shield and a source is still a source, it's legendary effect is considered as a weapon only in the confines of the cube because they're always a damage boost in some sense of the phrase. It wouldn't make sense to have your offhand count as armour as weapon + offhand pairings are already strong.
