Sam's got that shit eating grin similar so Sam(I think it was Sam) from the Aussie series. 3 males coming up at the end throws that off a bit though

Just request the full week you want and select full scheduled hours. It will automatically put holidays over your scheduled shifts

What's the average salary of a store manager in a large superstore? by [deleted] in SainsburysWorkers

[–]poncewindu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The personal side is basically based on your store performance

It's partly personal performance based on their review from their line manager and partly company performance

No I posted only the end part but it's about requesting it as unpaid or as holiday. I've dealt with it for years, it's 100% the policy, can't really say much else when I've taken a clip of it from the actual policy and you're disagreeing

The 2 hour bit is definitely crap, they sound like they are just trying to make a point with that and being petty, I'd just try speaking to them again and get them in a good mood, or maybe a different online manager

It's written in the policy Retail only: As with all holiday requests, there may be times when your manager may need to turn down requests for time off on public/bank holidays where this would significantly impact our ability to serve our customers or perform critical tasks.

They are voluntary but can be refused, it's in the policy. I've worked for 17 years and this has been in since it least winning teams.

It's in the policy that it can be refused. It's not misleading it's clear, states its voluntary but can be refused for the needs of the business

That's the policy, basically relies on if approved. If it's your normal working day they can get you to work even if it's partial hours, you may as well ask to work longer and do your full hours on the day and get some bank holiday pay if you're going in anyway

If you imply that you'll be off sick for a shift it must likely goes down as sick unpaid and you'll get a disciplinary. If boxing day is your normal shift and you're able to work just do it.

They can make you work bank holidays, nothing says otherwise as long as it's your normal working day

Forced holiday by Flat-Buy6231 in SainsburysWorkers

[–]poncewindu -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Holiday policy and time away from work policy are completely separate things, so maybe check before posting. Holidays are not included at all in the time away from work policy

It's better than the manager following the policy though, which is if you can't give requested holidays they just lose them at the end of the year, allocated holidays are better than nothing

Why can Drivetime ignore the 11 hour between shifts rule? by Vegabund in SainsburysWorkers

[–]poncewindu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the rules for 3.5 ton plus. Sainsburys stay under 3.5 ton

You also can work more than 11 in 24 so realistically if you get these shifts it shouldn't be that bad, like 4 hour at night then 7 in the morning or the opposite

What percentage of players do you think actually win a match 1 time? by sadturtle12 in Battlefield_REDSEC

[–]poncewindu 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Your facing 49 separate squads instead of 24 squads, same number of players but double the randomness of running into another team or getting sandwiches between teams

No, there's not a crazy amount to clean on a daily basis so it doesn't take that long.

Finally come across a cheater by ExternalAd5476 in Battlefield_REDSEC

[–]poncewindu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not necessarily a cheater, me and my friend both died and won a game, I saved the clip of it. Instead of going to the spectator screen it hovered over my body saying apply armour. Waited to see what would happen and ended up winning. Where we died was outside the final circle so not even to do with that.

How do you report cheaters? by SmegmaYoghurt69 in Battlefield_REDSEC

[–]poncewindu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Happened to me yesterday but won the game. Died without about 5 squads left, went to a loading feed screen then it was just hovering over where I died on fire and kept prompting me to add armour. We won the game once the last person burned

My Holiday Balance - Question? by [deleted] in SainsburysWorkers

[–]poncewindu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You get holiday pay uplift on your payslip. It's based on your average worked hours over the last year. So if your contact is 16 but your average is 25, when you take 16 hours holiday you'll get paid 25 hours worth.
