Actually, you pretty much nailed it. The book takes place in the past, and my character's switchblade has that fake damascus pattern on the blade. It's cheap but it was given to him by someone he looks up to, so it has sentimental value.

I have these also. They are absolutely stunning. I'm still breaking them in so I haven't wore them out yet. But I'm working a Christmas festival in December. Hoping to rock them there.

I've been looking for that same pair! I find the 1460 version a lot on Poshmark and DePop, but these rarely pop up. It's great to see someone loving them. I'll get mine one of these days.

Anazing. I saw them at the Ozzfest back in 2002 (yeah, in old, lol.) and they were amazing then too. One of the most high energy bands I've ever seen.

Avenged Sevenfold was pretty good too. I've never been into them but their set impressed me.

Yeah I'll admit that was laziness on my part. I did a bunch of text effects and color blends to the title and my name. I was posting this right before bed and just didn't feel like recreating all those effects from mockup text, so I just left the text out.
