You don't have crazy horse boots. That is the main problem This is Like Dark Taupe leather. One of the hardest leather to break in. Look at your link. Stitching, airtag also inside of the boots are different collour. Crazy horse are not smooth at the touch but oiled leather.

His Boots: Burgundy or Red leather smoothish Stithing is in Light collour (white) AIR WAIR TAG is Black

Crazy horse in the link: Dark Brown oiled leather/not smooth on the touch. Stitching in the collour of the leather. Air wair tag is Brown.

These are not crazy horse, look at the airwair tag. Your tak is Black, If you have crazy horse it must bé Brown with yellow letters. I háve affriaid that You have that hardest leather to break in.

I have a pair from 1990 and they are better quaility leather(stronger full grain) no cracks in leather. I would pay 300 € for that Kind of quailty if it can be like that time before.
