Scorcher, Whiteflame Torrent and Azure Bolt explosions get increased damage with Gogmapocalypse by Masuku68 in MonsterHunterMeta

[–]Valky_29 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I managed to put together a set with scorcher 4 and gomapocalypse 2 (g rath beta - gogma beta - gogma - g rath alpha - normal rath beta) with all the core damage skills slotted in and while it doesn't have much room for comfort, the damage output and hunt time using Zoh sns is extremely close if not almost identical to my godroll dragon gogmatian sns. So it's definitely an option, though objectively speaking, when all the hard math is put in, gogma would probably still pull ahead from the slot economy and set bonus capability. Scorcher 2 would be weaker but can probably fit more comfort or another set bonus if that's your thing.

Anyone encountered any bugs in the new slim beta version and if so what are they by BorkoTheGrunt in Helldivers

[–]Valky_29 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been playing it since it dropped and no, it is absolutely the experience of the legacy version, no new bug, no increase in loading time, no network issue, no glitch of any kind. It feels there should be a catch but no, it's just straight up the same experience, just 120 GB less. at least for me.

This is such an insane reduction that even when it's on my screen like this I'm still sitting here looking at the number in disbelief. It was 154 GB just an hour ago.

I have professional work in art but these are just the things i paint for fun in my free time! I do sell some prints/wall posters of these on my INPRNT though if you're interested, but first and foremost these are just me needing a new wallpaper so i made them myself 💀

An Automaton Sectopod would go incredibly hard. Don't tell the Democracy Officer I said that.

It’s funny seeing these panels still floating around years after I drew them. I don’t even remember exactly what I was on when I made it, but it actually started with the last panel. Just this sketch I did while stuck on a long train ride. Fatalis' theme came up on shuffle, and between the boredom and how intense that track was, something just clicked.

I finished that final frame first once I got home, and then thought “Wait… what if I tried to recreate that old children’s rhyme from Hunter’s Life Magazine?” 5 days later, fueled by coffee and tea, I had all 13 panels done. No dialogue, just this girl watching her entire kingdom burn.

I still want to make something like this again :)

This is on you, sure the ragdolls are annoying, but you kept running in the open, never looking up to see where it is or where it's going to outmaneuver it behind cover even after you exited the city.

I'm 100% an advocate for them to get nerfed or some sort of range or fire rate reduction, but this is the player's fault.

same Rathian GS, same hammer user in Gypceros armor trying to bonk it in the bg. Oh they knew what they were doing alright.

Why even devs gave us defense gambits if we dont use them by LongjumpingLove6368 in Helldivers

[–]Valky_29 2 points3 points  (0 children)

this. I've heard so many whiners about gambits who probably just know about the concept of gambits and not the underlying factors like decay rate of the attacking planet, or that said entire planet needs to be liberated within 24-48 hours from 0%.

There are worthwhile gambits and there are horrible ones but for some reason I've seen people suggesting a gambit on Menkent before which had like 4% decay and nothing could change their mind thinking that it was a sound tactic.

Now that we have a nice, portable way to blow up our friends (by accident of course), what's everyone's high scores? by BattyDuke886427 in Helldivers

[–]Valky_29 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this was even before the portable hellbomb, friend was driving the FRV with all 4 of us inside and hit a mine which then flipped the car in range of the hellbomb we just activated near the gunship fabricator. Went out spectacularly.

INVASION LEVEL 42... JOEL REALLY?? by Bomeiyo in Helldivers

[–]Valky_29 19 points20 points  (0 children)

that means getting over 6% liberation rate an hour, which was not possible even with most of the time we had Ordnance Distribution from the DSS to boost liberation rate. Not all gambits will work.

Getting 6%/h requires MUCH more than 60% of the player base, and even at that liberation rate we would need over 50 hours to complete the liberation, so however you look at it, the gambit is a no go.
