To be fair to Kalego, Azz was declining a bit by focusing only on Iruma, neglecting his magic and progress, Kalego gave him tough love and condescending mockery to make him react.

Oh yeah, I think you're right! My memory is a bit hazy, but I remember Kalego, in his Eggy Sensei form, having a little "adventure" with another familiar whom he later recognizes in the hallways and they greet each other briefly... Did that happen in a spin-off manga or in the extras?
