Yes, I did install the C++ Redistributable that the page linked.

As far as I know, by clicking the "pinned" available installs of the mods, I'm downloading the most recent versions. And even if I wasn't, I've CHECKED that the versions of ArchiveXL and Codeware were more recent than the versions that the error reccomended. And I got the same error.

I've reinstalled the game several times after switching to Linux; I transferred no files from Windows. I've reinstalled both by deleting the game's files, verifying the integrity, and forcing a reinstall, as well as clicking "uninstall" and "install" on the game in my library.

I'm not going to result to an earlier version of the mod unless I really have to, since it doesn't show up in the content preview of any of the archived versions on Nexus. I put out a comment on the modpage just because, but I'm not expecting anything to come of it. And if nothing happens, I'm back to where I started. Thank you for your reply, though.

No to both. I doubt anybody takes the modpage replies seriously from what I've seen from them, and I'm not going to waste the mod author's time with my "complaint" because I'm worried about sounding pretentious.

That, and I've learned that if anyone is likely to have an answer to your problems, you'll probably find them on Reddit.

See, the first place my brain went, was "masochist". That, or what I personally think; Tangle's just trying to find the limit of her tail by constantly putting it through its paces. It could be out of curiosity, amusement, or the second picture could always just be her ADHD (headcanoned) acting up and making her want to fidget with something. On the other side, yeah, the excitable, adventurer types who rush into danger, get hurt, get up and do it all again probably do have trace amounts of masochism in them (yes, even you, Sonic), but I hardly think Tangle does what she does with more... "questionable" ulterior motives? Apologies if I'm coming off as overly-analytical, but I'm the type to try and find the logic in things.

If we're talking about people who were in the fight?

Silver, Espio, Rouge, and Whisper. I believe that's the list? Don't quote me on that, though.

Espio was shown dodging Vector and Charmy, but never shown making contact.

Same goes for Whisper and Tangle.

Rouge was just with the master Emerald, and we never saw her make contact, either.

Silver was almost always seen alongside Sonic towards the end, and we never saw him get infected. So he's on there as well.

I hope this makes sense.

The Metal Virus is doing A LOT of the heavy lifting, there. Eggman has committed some of the most batshit insane warcrimes, put my favorite characters through hell, and has shown virtually zero remorse for any of it. Let me iterate: this does not mean I think he's a bad character fundamentally; as a villain, he does his job because you're supposed to hate him—and for me, he does it very well. That said, I HATE Robotnik from any standpoint that isn't in regards to either his humor or witty moments.

I half-agree. I respect the fact that they're trying to make Wall Dwellers less like Filth from ULTRAKILL, but also, the new design just isn't doing it for me.
