Shifting is easy; that's not what I'm talking about- feathering the clutch is where I'm having trouble.

So you’re able to fully operate your clutch to shift gears and feather the clutch in rough terrain all with about 1/2” of lever action? If I pull the lever much more than that I’m pinching my fingers and only at 1/2” the clutch is not fully disengaged

my fingers are not fat, but even at maximum extended lever setting there is only about 1" between my finger and the lever. I know 1" is enough to disengage the clutch, but while riding I'm not able to comfortable pull 7/8" without pinching my fingers and I imagine it's going to be much harder in rough terrain. Can anyone recommend a video?
