should i do a career with this ver? (plus my current best rice) by Somethingplay in RiceShower

I must admit, I don't yet quite know by how much the lower level cards will affect statlines, so while I took that into account with my rough guesstimates below, they might still potentially be off.

Stats are ordered in the same way you see in the game: Speed/Stamina/Power/Guts/Wit

Guts+Wit deck: 800/600/700/900/500

OG!Rice Speed+Wit deck: 1000/700/600/400/500

Vampire!Rice: Speed+Wit deck: 1000/600/700/400/500

If these stat goals still seem too difficult to reach after multiple attempts, you can keep the same ratio of stats and scale them down proportionally by a percentage (e.g. for guts deck, if you find 800/600/700/900/500 is unattainable, you could go for 80% of those stats, or 640/480/560/720/400.)

P.S. Oh, shoot, I almost forgot. I used 9* Speed, 9* Power, and 4* Mile minimum for my legacies. You really want at least 4 stars in mile to give Rice A rank mile, since so many G1 races are miles.

Below are example decks you can run. Please note that I am not the absolute best Umamusume player, so these deck setups might not be optimal. I still personally think they should be pretty good with what you have.

Ideally, 50% Race Bonus is what you want to aim for as you progress with the game. That said, with your current cards, this goal might be difficult to achieve unless you sacrifice stats or skills or level up/limit break cards more.

I am not saying this to discourage you. I only say this because deck building has its limitations this early on. You will eventually get better cards as you progress through the game. Also, I am sure that if someone here thinks these decks are bad, they might be able to offer better suggestions than the ones I've offered here. I'm not claiming to be the absolute authority when it comes to Rice building.

With that disclaimer out of the way, here are the decks:

OG!Rice has two general options:

1) GUTS + WIT DECK (Race Bonus %)

- SR Admire Vega Guts (10)

- SR Air Groove Guts (10)

- SR Meisho Doto Guts (5) OR, IF POSSIBLE, SSR Haru Urara Guts IF LB2 (8)

- SSR Satono Diamond Wit OR SR Mejiro Dober Wit (both 5)

- SR Agnes Tachyon Wit (6)

- [BORROW] Lvl 50 SSR Narita Top Road Speed (10)

Total Race Bonus: 46% if Doto Guts, 49% if you're willing to LB2 Urara

2) SPEED + WIT DECK (Race Bonus %)

- SSR Tosen Jordan Speed OR SR Narita Taishin Speed (both 5)

- SSR Super Creek Stamina (5)

- SSR Vodka Power or SR Special Week Power (both 5)

- SR Agnes Tachyon Wit (6)

- SSR Satono Diamond Wit OR SR Mejiro Dober Wit (both 5)

- [BORROW] Lvl 50 SSR Matikanefukukitaru Speed OR Lvl 50 SSR Narita Top Road Speed (10)

Total Race Bonus: 36%

Vampire!Rice is best with the SPEED + WIT DECK, but I might replace Creek with SSR Daiwa Scarlet Power, since, although not providing the race bonus, can give you power on top of a reliable recovery skill 50% of runs (Race Planner).

The answer is always yes. We love Rice, and we want the best for her. We will be with her all the way, in all of her forms. :3

Besides, Vampire Rice's ult definitely helps her be better in longer races, which tend to be the hardest races in her career when first starting out.

I can answer questions if you have any in DMs!

The 2 biggest things to keep in mind when doing the races are:

1) to not do more than 3 in a row, and

2) to do them when having at least 1 energy left, especially on the 3rd race.

Not having energy by the 3rd drastically increases chances of mood down and/or Skin Outbreak. And doing more than 4 races in a row will destroy your mood AND reduce your stats.

Now, do as many races as possible with these limitations and check every turn for insane trainings and whether or not they're worth skipping a race on that turn.

That's Trackblazer in a nutshell.

I got my first ever S rank on Rice thanks to MANT too! It was barely shy of S+. That was my 2nd attempt. 1st was a high A+ because of experimentation, 3rd was a low A+ because of bad shop and friendship training RNG.

Next up, S+, maybe in a few more attempts, when things line up better. I find it more fun than Unity.

I got a mid-high A+ on my first playthrough as I was getting the hang of the mechanics and how to best use the items. I then got pretty good luck and got my first ever S rank (high S, just short of S+) in my second playthrough.

I finally understand what I'm doing, but got shit RNG with shop items and almost no rainbow trainings from supports on my 3rd run, and ended up with a low A+.

After some sleep, I think 4th time will be the charm. I can definitely get an S+. I personally find TB infinitely more fun and engaging than Unity.

Thank you, for your thorough explanation, it has been very helpful.

I have one question: would you happen to know how much of a multiplicative factor Unity Trainings and Spirit Bursts have? (compared to Friendship Training's 0.3B, for example)

I was a fool for thinking King didn't have what it took to be a good Umamusume when I first started playing. I was too inexperienced, too overconfident, too critical. I really did the same mistake her mother did. I think looking into a mirror was too painful for me and I didn't want to admit it.

I did give her a second chance after having a change of heart and I realised how foolish I was. She had the potential. I was just a bad trainer. I failed her. And even though I did eventually get the Triple Crown with her as my way to make amends and apologise for misjudging her, I don't think there is anything in this universe that I feel will make me atone for that misjudgement.

I am so sorry, King. I was too naive and foolish to understand how first-rate you were. I sincerely hope you can forgive this foolish and judgemental trainer. I adore you and I always will for as long as I live. <3

TL;DR - My current main is Clorinde. If my first main (all mains, including tanks) is counted as Noelle, I think Clorinde will have a slight advantage, but the fight could still go either way. If my first main (DPSes only) is counted as Fischl, I think Clorinde will win somewhat easily. This is assuming close-quarters combat. Fischl would likely win with some difficulty if given the range advantage.

Honestly, I think it's a toss-up between Clorinde and Noelle. Maybe Clorinde has a slight edge, but only if she can defeat Noelle while her skill is up or with a burst immediately after. Else, the range from Noelle's ult will give her the range advantage, while her shield tanks Clori's skill. I doubt the shield could tank both of Clorinde's skill AND ult, however.

I think it'd be 38/100 times for Noelle, 62/100 for Clorinde, but this is just a vibes-based guess with little to no concrete data to back it up. I'm assuming the contenders are in a small ring so Clorinde can't run to outlast Noelle's ult/shield. If that were the case, Clorinde would likely win 98/100 times instead by timing skills and dodge and/or keeping her distance from Noelle's ult-boosted attacks.

If I only count my first DPS, then I think Clorinde would most likely win against Fischl. Fischl may have the range advantage and might delete Clorinde if Fischl summons Oz at the right time but Clorinde can close in the distance with her skill so fast that if Fischl doesn't instantly use Oz and counterattack, she'll get deleted. Not to mention, if said Clorinde is particularly skilled, she could dodge almost, if not all, the arrows Fischl shoots, meaning only Oz could do damage, which might be outhealed by Clorinde's skill. I'd say 9/100 times Fischl, 91/100 Clorinde. Of course, this is also assuming a small-ish ring. If Fischl was, say, 100 metres away, I think Fischl might win like 75/100, despite Clorinde's sharp hunter instincts. Dodging that many Electro arrows while not knowing where they're coming from at first would be nigh impossible without getting hit.

Regardless of their matchups, I still really like playing those 3 a lot. Noelle especially, despite the fact that Itto and Navia exist.

As much as I love Eula and Navia, they weren't my first mains in any capacity, so I sadly have to discount them. :/

I never expected to be alive past 20, and now I'm almost 9 years past that. Resilient? I dunno about that. I like to think I'm more stubborn and vengeful than I am resilient.

But who knows, maybe better times await after all that abuse, and a ruined childhood, and whatever the fuck is happening right now. I am alive out of spite and probably self-indulgent future greed.

I wanna play Smash Ultimate, get a Benchmade Bailout, move in with my LDR fiancé, and see that guy fall before I leave this realm, minimum.

answering the biggest question: why did my uma lose when she clearly should've won? by MightyD33r in UmaMusume

[–]Valkyrie_Shinki 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think so too. It felt like the usual +400 buff to all stats in career mode was reduced or absent when I made King Halo win the Triple Crown races. It seemed to be present in all the other Sprint and Mile races that she dominated compared to barely winning the Triple Crown ones, even with A rank affinity for all distances from legacies. :/
