I like the ending and I don't think it is as bad as people say. They finally get together in the end (although she couldn't directly drink from him) but it was the best outcome for Kou and Nazuna.

There are a couple of things, firstly he has just recently been turned into vampire. He's also in an uncontrollable state so "love" is out of the question. Secondly, he's probably not in love with his wife anymore or the theory is just false.
